4. Magic
If you want to use magic, you have to learn the spell first.
You can buy magic scrolls and learn the spell by reading
the scroll.(right mouse click)
If you want to cast a spell on a monster or other player,
you first have to select the target by holding the
ctrl key and then left mouse click on the target.
If the target is selected correctly,
a green line will appear above the target, displaying the HP.
To use the spell, you have type the spell words
into your input line. To make this easier ,
you can assign the spell to one of the 9 hot
keys by typing in the spell words and then pressing
the shift key and the F1 key (F1-F9).
After that you only have to hit the hot key and the spell
words will appear in your input line.
Then press the enter key and you will speak the spell.
Magic spells have a wisdom minimum requirement.
If your wisdom is lower than the minimum
requirement of the spell, you can not learn the spell.
If you want to become a powerful wizard,
you have to assign your base points on a regular
basis to your wisdom, when you gain a level.
You can not use spells if you are fighting.
You can write spells into magic gems.
(You can buy empty gems in a Magic Guild)
Move gem to the first position of your inventory and type in the chat line:
rug SPELLWORDS (for example rug esani gre moel)
This will create an echanted gem that contains the spell you chose and
after using the gem it will be empty again and can be reused.
Spells
1. Fire Ball
Spell words:esani gre olam
This is an ancient spell , that can cause
some damage.
2. Ice Ball
Spell words:esani gre leda
This is a powerful battle spell that
pierces the target with ice needles, but doesn't
freeze the target.
3. Lightning
Spell words:esani gre moel
In ancient times, this spell belonged to the dark elves,
who could control the weather. In the great war with the
dwarfs, the spell secret was stolen and the spell can now
be used even by beginner mages.
4. Light Healing
Spell words:alide fiole
This spell heals light wounds and is one of the most
common spells.
5. Strong Healing
Spell words:alide hazde
This spell is similar to light healing, but requires
more concentration and mana.
6. Create arrows
Spell words:tare dekavo
This is a strange spell that was made by warriors
in ancient times and creates a number of arrows.
7. Create Bolts
Spell words:tare treza
Some friendly wizards made this spell for the warriors
from the create arrows spell. The spell creates a number of
bolts for crossbows but requires more mana.
8. Poison
Spell words: esani dera
A thief guild spent a long time on creating this spell.
Now they can use it to poison their enemies, without having
to use common methods like poisoned food or weapons.
9. Heal Poison
Spell words:alide dera
There are many creatures in different worlds, that poison
their victims, before they eat them. The mages guild invented
this spell especially for their explorers.
10. Dark Tree
Spell Words:esani atego
This spell was also created by a thief guild and holds the
enemy with thin, living roots that are indestructible by
normal weapons and cause the enemy to be defenseless.
11. Destroy Dark Tree
Spell Words:alide atego
This spell was created by a mages guild to destroy the
effects of the dark tree spell.
12. Without Magic
Spell Words: esani lanur
This spell was discovered by a thief guild in a forgotten
world and temporarily blocks the enemies magic.
The Enemy can not use any spells for the duration of this spell.
13. Dispel Without Magic
Spell words:alide lanur
This spell was created by a mages guild to undo the effects of
the without magic spell.
14. Burn
Spell words:esani olam
A Fireball spell was modified by a talented wizard and does not
only damage the enemy like a Fire ball , but also causes the
enemy to temporarily burst into flames.
15. Extinguish Fire
Spell words:alide olam
This spell extinguishes all magic fire effects.
16. Broadcast
Spell words: tek sa
This spell allows to broadcast a message to the world and all
players.
17. Weaken Undead
Spell Word:esani darte
This spell weakens the undead und causes them to burst into
flames. If the undead is already damaged,
the spell can heal him.
18. Fire Sight
Spell words:vex hel olam
This spell has an effect similar to the fire breath of a
dragon and burns everything in its path.
19. Fire Storm
Spell words: vex ron olam
This spell is similar to fire sight, but is weaker, because it
surrounds the caster.
20. Magic Eye
Spell words: dem vix
This spell makes it possible to see all living things on the
small map, as long as the caster doesn't move.
21. Temple Call
Spell words:tek hamel
This spell allows the caster to teleport himself to the city temple.
This spell requires a lot of concentration and can not be used
in combat.
22. Find Person
Spell words:dem mas
This spell enables you to find a person.
23. Fire Bomb
Spell words:ves bor olam
This is a powerfull combat magic spell that can cause a lot of damage.
24.Magic Healing
Spell words:alide ala
This spell heals wounds and also dispels all negative effects like
dark tree, burn etc
Special spells
Change guild leader
Spell words: esani gul tak "name"
This spell changes a guild leader and can only be
casted by a guild leader.
Destroy guild mark
Spell words: esani gul ote
This spell destroys the guild mark of the caster.
Destroy guild mark
Spell words: gul reat "name"
This spell destroys the guild mark of a character and can only
be casted by the guild leader.
Guild Mark
Spell words: esani gul ape "name"
Makes a guild mark on a character and can only be cast by the
guild leader.
